- Dig over vegetable plots and incorporate manure

- Mulch borders with organic matters to surpress weeds and insulate plant roots
- Top dress borders with balanced fertiliser to feed perennials as they grow back
- Order catalogues for spring planting of summer flowrering bulbs and plants
